Hello there Pals!
This week I learned how to use HTML5 Canvas. I discovered creating something as simple as a rectangle, square, or letter W is more difficult than it seems. I struggled with attempting to create these shapes in the Dreamweaver Adobe application, but I found some tutorials online to help myself out! It's almost like magic! You can find so much helpful tutorials online for almost anything you might find difficult! Here are a few of my favorite tutorials!

If you ever find yourself needing some help on creating shapes when doing HTML5, hopefully this will be as helpful for you as they were for me!
Well folks, that is all for today!
See ya real soon!

Welcome!
Hello to all who come to this happy place!
My name is Carley Heskett and I am a Musical Theater and Advertising and Public Relations double major at the University of Tampa. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and I had to travel across the country to find my home at UT. I currently am a full time student and a part-time Cast Member at Walt Disney World. I hope to one day combine my passion of Musical Theater and ADPR with my love for Disney and become an Entertainment Publicist for the Disney Company. Making magic everyday with Disney is my ultimate dream. Whether I decide to have a career more focused in performance or in advertising and public relations, this Digital Media course will make me a more competitive candidate for any job I apply for. I believe this course will open my horizons to the world of computer art. In my opinion, art is the best form of communication and my favorite way to represent myself. When I am taking a break from my studies, work, or performing, I enjoy cooking and baking. From the time I couldn't see above the counter to the time I was able to reach measuring cups from the highest shelf, I was raised watching my grandma work her magic in the kitchen. She introduced me to the culinary world and how it is filled with endless possibilities for discovery. It is with out a doubt, the most delicious art form. I am eager to learn a whole new art form in this Digital Media course. It will hopefully give me even more possibilities to express myself as an artist. Although this Digital Media class seems intimidating, I can't wait to stretch myself as an artist. Thank you for reading!
